Highgrade Recruitment Ltd are seeking to appoint NQTs for work in local secondary schools, covering subjects at KS3 & KS4. At Highgrade you have the opportunity to work in local schools, be fully supported in your role to work through your professional learning plan and Induction. Or working on ad hock supply allows you to gain experience and understanding in a range of schools throughout your local area and quite often leads to permanent offers and opportunities when both teacher and school connect well.

As a Qualified Teacher, you posses:

• QTS or equivalent and recent experience in teaching and learning
• Passion and competence in your subject knowledge
• The ability to work to the school’s scheme of work, planning and marking
• Provide effective and constructive feedback to the students
• Having strong leadership skills with a friendly and approachable character and an ability to uphold excellent classroom behaviour
• Good knowledge of the national curriculum
• Good communication and time management skills
• Adaptability and flexibility to use your own initiative and to lead with a professional attitude
• Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures
• The chosen candidate must have a current Enhanced Disclosure either by supplying an update service reference number or carrying out a new DBS with Highgrade Recruitment Ltd
• The chosen candidate must hold current Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• You must work to the standards of the policies and procedures of Highgrade Recruitment Ltd
